The EQUALITY study was the first of its kind to develop and implement patient-centered methods of SO/GI (sexual orientation/gender identity) collection in emergency department settings. This presentation will highlight patient and provider perspectives, implementation challenges and successes, and future directions for SO/GI research in acute care settings.
