Joint Commission on the Status of Women Panel: Everyday Acts of Bias and Bravery
We will focus on the acts of overt and unconscious bias that we encounter as we go through our work day (e.g., in clinical settings from patients, or with our colleagues and superiors) and biases encountered as we advance in our careers. We will also discuss strategies in what we can do to support each other when we observe biases happening to our colleagues.
