The Historical Roots of Injustice in Medicine
Symposium 1: Racism, Medicine, and NEJM since 1812

The Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Partnership (DICP) at Harvard Medical School, the Center for the History of Medicine at Countway Library, and the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) present the first of three symposia, in conjunction with the ongoing NEJM series “Recognizing Historical Injustices in Medicine and the Journal.”

Date: Wednesday, May 15, 2024
Time: 12:00 - 2:00 p.m., with refreshments available before and after
Location: Minot Conference Room (Room 506), Countway Library (10 Shattuck St., Boston, MA 02115) and Zoom

Featuring authors of the NEJM series: David S. Jones, Scott H. Podolsky, Meghan Bannon Kerr, Evelynn Hammonds, Joseph Gone, and Merlin Chowkwanyun.
